Why the Fox?

Carson & Co Compensation Law has a golden fox in its logo, and you might ask why?

What do foxes and lawyers have in common?

Foxes are often associated with being a trickster, being sneaky and cunning, creating devious plans and benefiting from the misfortune of others. Lawyers, and in particular personal injury lawyers often have similar things said about them.

However, in many stories and myths, the fox a helper or guide. Instead of being called sneaky and cunning, they are considered clever, quick and wise, and they are instrumental in the success of those they aid.

Examples of this include:-

  • In Finnish mythology, whilst the fox is smaller, they outsmart and achieved victory over the voracious wolf and the strong bear.

  • The ancient peoples of Peru believed the fox to be a warrior that would use only its mind to fight.

  • In Celtic mythology, it was believed the fox knew the forest better than anyone else, and they were highly adaptable, able to think fast and strategically and adjust to new situations.

  • The fox was also seen as a spirit animal, providing guidance on how to quickly find your way around obstacles when facing tricky situations.

While Carson & Co Compensation Law may be small, but we have all of the positive attributes of the fox.
